Kampala, Uganda: MTN prepaid customers can now call special friends and/or family members at super discounted rates with MTN Friends and Family.
The MTN Friends and Family package enables prepaid mobile customers to register a maximum of two selected numbers to their account. The customer then enjoys discounted tariffs all the time on all calls made to any one of these two registered numbers.
Speaking during the launch of the service, MTN’s Public Relations Officer, Sheila Kangwagye remarked, “We aim to make the lives of our customers even more enjoyable with our products and services. MTN Friends and Family is another way of making our services even more affordable to our customers.”
She also added, “Getting connected to MTN Friends and Family is very simple. Customers register their preferred numbers by SMS and get confirmations that their numbers have been successfully registered. They will be charged a minimal fee per number registered. They will also be able to de-register a number and add another”.
MTN Friends and Family is available to all MTN prepaid customers on 077X and 078X only.
