Telecommunications giant MTN launches a big money promotion code named Kwata Cash in which it’s new and existing customers stand a chance of winning big cash and or fancy MTN goodies.

The MTN Foundation, MTN’s CSR arm has partnered with the Malaria Consortium in the fight against Malaria. The Malaria Consortium is a non-profit organization that works to combat malaria and other communicable diseases among the poorest and most vulnerable people in Africa and Asia.

The 23rd World University games are due to take place in France on April 6th 2008. To choose a team to represent Uganda, several universities have started preparations through the MTN National Inter - University Games.

MTN, the leading telecommunications company in Uganda has announced a reduction in their prices less than two months since its last price cut in December 2007. The telecommunications giant has again dropped its prices a further 10% lower from their current prices on the market.

MTN today concluded its Kwata Cash promotion in which more than 600 participants have won more than half a billion shillings in cash and an additional 400 participants have won more than UGX 500 Million in non cash prizes.
