Music

Music is passion. With music we communicate, we share, we love, we cry, we connect and we move to the same rhythm with our customers. MTN seeks to develop local musical talent in Uganda be it kadongo-kamu, R&B, Ragga, Pop or jazz by sponsoring artistes to stage shows. We discover new artists and help them to become accessible to you. Currently MTN sponsors Juliana Kanyomozi, Bobi Wine, Chameleon, Blu*3, and Obsessions.

MTN also stages music festivals in all the regions within Uganda to give Ugandans the opportunity to express themselves through their love of music. Check our festival calendar to find out when we will be in your town ( last sentence subject to change; but will have a link to the Yello Festival Calendar which will  list Ekiggunda Kyomwaka, Yello Fest in Bushenyi, Gulu, etc.)

We’ve shared what the world’s musical talent has to give Ugandans by staging concerts with big international artistes such as, CeCe Winans in December 2008, and UB40 on February 2008. What a show! Be sure to check our picture gallery to see how great it was!
