Basketball

The MTN Basketball League is the national basketball league in Uganda and has been under the sponsorship of MTN since 2005. The League hosts 5 divisions in both men’s and women’s basketball giving young athletes the opportunity to develop skills in a sport they are passionate about. Every season MTN provides playing kit and equipment to the teams, as well as provides prizes for recognition of the excelling teams and individuals in dunking, assists, MVPs, dribbling and other skills.

Within the Kampala Kids League, MTN also sponsors the Totos basketball league for children under 6 contributing to early identification of talent within the sport.
