Check your points balance by dialing *141# then select option 2 (Check Points) or send SMS request: STATUS to 141. You also access the online portal.

Check your redemption minutes and SMS status by dialing *141# then select option 1 (My Status). Or send SMS request: STATUS to 141. You also use the shortcut dial *156*2#
Similarly on using your redeemed minutes or SMS, you’ll receive an end of call notification displaying what has been used.

How do I get extra points?
Gain extra MTN 1-4-1 points by submitting additional personal information such as Gender, Region etc.

This is a Loyalty Programme for MTN PayAsYouGo customers, rewarding on accumulative spend and forward tenure. You can register for free and begin earning points immediately.

No, once you register for the MTN 1-4-1 Loyalty Programme, you cease receiving the weekly CashBack bonus.

How long do I have to wait to get my redeemed reward?
Your redeemed reward will be activated immediately and you can use it as soon as you receive the instant SMS notification of redemption.
In the unlikely event that your purchase was unsuccessful, your points will be reversed to your loyalty account the following day. We will also notify you via SMS when the reversal is completed.

What can I spend my points on?
You can spend/redeem your points for extra voice minutes and SMS bundles. More rewards will be introduced soon.

The menu will display all redeemable items you are eligible for and simply follow the prompts.
Select from the available reward options and your account will also be instantly credited and points deducted.

What happens if I don't use my points?
Your points are valid for 24 months. If you do not use any of your points within the first 24 months after registration for MTN 1-4-1, you will lose the points you earned 24 months ago i.e. your account is reset in month 25, the points you earned previously will expire.

Yes, your points will expire after 24 months i.e. your account is reset in month 25, the points you earned previously will be erased and you’ll have to start accumulating from 0 points.
