MTN Easy Talk
With MTN Easy Talk a customer gets a chance to own and have an MTN number without actually owning a Mobile handset.
Instead you get an MTN Easy Talk SIM call card which is used in specific MTN Easy Talk Call boxes; these being public fixed GSM terminals.
The MTN Easy Talk call box offers, above making and receiving voice calls, all the basic value added services that MTN offers, enabling:
- Sending and receiving SMS
- Retrieving Voicemail
- Maintaining an Phonebook
- Sending and receiving Me2U
- Checking Airtime Balance
- Sending and receiving VoiceSMS and more
When your Airtime runs out, simply load Airtime like any other MTN mobile phone user; by buying a regular MTN recharge voucher.
How to
Use the MTN Easy Talk SIM Call Card, simply insert the card into the card slot on the phone, it will run through a short validation process; thereafter proceed to make or receive calls or use available service features:
Send SMS:
Use the up and down buttons on the phone menu to select the Short message option. Then proceed to: Write a New Message, Read and Reply or Delete a message (Inbox max. storage: 10)
The Phone book:
Use the up and down buttons on the phone to scroll to the Phone book option. You can then choose to Edit, Add or Delete a contact.
Load Airtime:
Purchase an Airtime Recharge Voucher of any denomination then top-up by dialing *155*accessnumber# or following these steps. On doing so, you’ll receive an SMS confirming the successful recharge. You can also send and receive a Me2U
Checking Airtime balance:
- Communication available in restrictive closed & protected communities i.e. boarding schools, with similar function to that of a Mobile phone.
- An Affordable phone with less risk.
