1. Visit an MTN Service Centre
Activate
You can self provision for the BlackBerry Internet Solution, purchase your access option at your own convenience by dialing *150# and selecting option 4 (Prepaid BlackBerry) on the menu, then select your preferred access option e.g. 7 days.
Once you receive the SMS notification of your successful purchase you will need to reboot your handset by simply pressing & holding down the keys: ALT + RIGHT SHIFT + DEL simultaneously for a few seconds (See illustration below).
The device LED light should flash red and the handset will initiate the auto-reboot. Once complete your device will display the data compatible technology in capitals i.e. EDGE or 3G meaning the provisioning is active and your device is internet ready.
