MTN WakaNet/ Business internet Fiber Card Payments is a secure and convenient option that allows existing MTN WakaNet/ Business internet Fiber customers to renew their internet subscription using a Visa or Mastercard. This payment method is only available for renewals, not new purchases.

No, you can only use Card payments to renew an existing MTN WakaNet/ Business internet Fiber subscription. First-time purchases must be made through Momo for now.

  • Click WakaNet Fiber
  • Renew Subscription
  • Renew for me/Renew for other
  • Choose the preferred Package (Lite)
  • Select the period of subscription 1,3,6 or 12 months
  • Check Top up information is correct
  • Select Bank Card
  • Input your Card No, Expiry month, Expiry Year, security Code and Card Name
  • Confirm the price and click pay.
  • You will receive a confirmation payment of payment notification.

No, you cannot automatically renew for now.

  • Ensure your card has sufficient funds and is enabled for online transactions.
  • Check with their bank to confirm if you’re their Card is enabled for 3D authentication. Refer to No.9 below. 
  • If it continues to fail, contact your bank or MTN Customer Care for help by dialling 125

Also known as 3D Secure (3DS), is an additional layer of security used when making online payments with Visa or Mastercard. It helps protect users from fraud by verifying that the person making the payment is the rightful cardholder.

When 3D Secure is enabled, a customer will be asked to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their phone or email, or via their banking app to authenticate, before the transaction is processed.

MTN does not charge any additional fees for payments made using Visa or Mastercard. However, the bank or card provider may apply transaction or processing fees, which are beyond MTN’s control.

Refunds for failed or duplicated Visa/Mastercard payments will be processed within 72 hours.

No, you can not use the MoMo card because it does not have the 3D card authentication.
