How does a Wakanet router work?
Wakanet Router uses bundles and speed plans with Bundles and Caps on the data volume. When your bundle depletes, you need to top up to remain connected.
Where can I purchase a Wakanet router?
Wakanet Routers can be bought from any MTN Service Center or any MTN dealer shop.
You may also apply for a Wakanet Router from anywhere using your MyMTNApp or the MTN Website.
How much is a Wakanet router?
The Wakanet router is free.

- 5G Router Stater pack is UGX 130,000 for 10 Mbps.

It can connect to up to 32 Devices.

No, Router comes with a free SIM registered under the owner names at the point of purchase.
How can I change my Password?
Connect device to internet, browse with http://192.168.1.1. Login with Username and Password as indicated on the device sticker at the bottom/ back of the device to access the change password option.
How to can I know my Wi-Fi Connection Password?
Check on the Router Device sticker at the back or bottom use the Wi-Fi Key to connect.
No Light on Wi-Fi Signal
Press the WPS button on the Router and reconnect.
How to Reset Router Device?
Look for small hole on Device labelled with reset. Hold down a Sim ejector Pin, wait for the device lights to restart to complete the reset process then reconnect.
My Router Device Name not displaying on devices.
Reset the Router and reconnect.

How to check connected devices.
Connect device to internet, browse with http://192.168.1.1. Login with Username and Password as indicated on the device Sticker to access User dashboard.
