Series, Dramas and a huge catalogue of international Movies. - You can watch anytime, anywhere on your phone, tablet, smart TV, or computer. No need for a satellite dish.
No need for cable box. Just your phone and an internet connection.
How do I access MTN TV
- Step1: Visit the Google Playstore (Android Phones) OR the App store (Apple phones)
- Step2: Search for MTN TV by Afromobile app
- Step3: Download and install the app
- Step4: Login with your MTN Number; you will receive an OTP which auto populates for authentication)
Do I have to pay to watch content on MTN TV?
We have two offers namely:
- FREEMIUM: This Content is Free to Watch for all MTN Customers with an Active data bundle. There is no
subscription. You just need to have an active MTN Data bundle. - PREMIUM: This is exclusive content for which users must pay subscription to watch. Premium Subscription
options are listed below:

Note: The subscription price does NOT include streaming data.
Do I need to have data to watch MTN TV content ?
Yes. All users will stream content off their existing MTN data bundle; if a user has no data, then they will have to load a
data bundle.
Can Non MTN Customers (users on other networks) access MTN TV?
Yes. BUT they must subscribe to Premium content on MTN TV. FREEMIUM content is ONLY available to MTN Customers.
- Users in Uganda must use MoMo to Pay to access content on MTN TV
- Outside Uganda: Visa / Mastercard Credit and debit cards, accepted globally especially for international
users.

How many screens can I stream on at the same time?
- 3 Screens can stream simultaneously
- A user can have 2 account profiles
How do I manage my Data consumption on MTN TV?
The default setting for quality is Standard Definition. However, a user can change the quality anytime; this is done within
the MTN TV app.
Can I watch content Offline?
- Yes. This is available ONLY for users with Weekly and Monthly subscriptions. They can download select titles ; this is
great as users can watch content when travelling or in areas of limited connectivity. - Content is downloaded on device and is not shareable.
Note: Freemium users cannot download content for offline viewing.
