MTN KOI KOI FAQs
1. What is MTN KOI KOI
MTN KOI KOI is a USSD based mobile Trivia platform that will allow MTN customers, especially Feature phone users to participate in Trivia activities.
2. Who is eligible to use the service
Only MTN customers are eligible to participate.
Participants must be aged 18 years and above.
MTN Staff members are also eligible to participate.
The product is available to both smartphone and feature phone users.
3. How does it work
The customer will dial *147# to subscribe to the product, Upon successful subscription, The customer will participate in a quiz contest comprising multiple questions. See screenshots below showing the different steps

4. How much does it cost?
The service offers a free offer of 2 questions for first time users
It has a Daily, weekly and monthly offers as seen below

For a weekly subscription the participant gets a new set of questions every day for 7 days and for monthly subscription the participant gets a new set of questions every day for 30days.
For monthly subscription the participant gets a new set of questions every day for 30 days.
A participant shall have fifteen (15) seconds to respond to each question, any response submitted after this time will be marked as incorrect.
Participants will earn points based on their responses: each correct answer attracts fifty (50) points, while incorrect answers attract zero (0) points.
5. How can one tell their points?
A real time score board is available for the participant to view their scores.
All accumulated points shall be reset at the end of each calendar month at 00:00 hours.
6. If I played before and I opt out but I have accumulated points before the month ends and I re subscribe again, do I remain with the same points
If a participant opts out of the service and reactivates within the same contest period, their previously accumulated points shall remain valid.
7. How often does one win?
Rewards shall be issued on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
8. How are winners determined?
Winners shall be determined through a random selection process conducted by the Partner.
9. What are the possible rewards to be won?
Winners shall receive rewards including airtime, data bundles, and voice bundles. Mobile Money rewards may be introduced at a later stage as the product evolves.
10. How will winners know that they have won?
Winners shall be notified via SMS as follows:
- Hourly:

You have won a Daily Bundle of 80MB worth UGX 500 from MTN KOI KOI.
- Daily:
Congratulations!
You have won a Weekly Bundle of 4.5GB worth UGX 10,000 from MTN KOI KOI.
- Weekly:
Congratulations! You have won UGX 25,000 airtime from MTN KOI KOI.
