The MTN Uganda Free Data Offer is for MTN subscribers using a compatible smartphone connected to the MTN network for the first time.

Customers who activate their MTN SIM card in selected smartphones that are supported by an active MTN marketing campaign in the open market will receive a predefined volume of free data. The specific free data allocation and validity period will be communicated as part of the relevant marketing campaign.

Customers who activate smartphones that are not supported by a direct MTN marketing campaign may qualify for an 100% bonus data offer when they purchase an MTN monthly data bundle. This bonus applies only to data bundles with a validity period of one (1) month and does not apply to daily, weekly, or other promotional data bundles offered by MTN.

Each MTN mobile number is eligible for only one (1) free data smartphone offer within a period of twelve (12) months (365 days).

If a subscriber changes or inserts their MTN SIM card into another smartphone within 365 days from the date of receiving a free data offer, the subscriber will not be eligible for any additional free data benefits associated with MTN smartphone campaigns during that period.

Free data and bonus data awarded under this offer are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits.

All free data and bonus data must be used on the MTN Uganda network and are subject to MTN’s standard data usage policies and fair usage guidelines.

MTN Uganda reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this offer at any time, with or without prior notice, in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
