The Service 
This service is aimed at preserving numbers for customers who are not able to use their MTN Number for a long period to avoid having them recycled.
As per UCC requirements, any inactive MSISDN is automatically recycled after 270 days and issued to another user.
This proposition meets the demands of the customer categories below:
- The travelers out of the country.
- Participants in international studies abroad.
- Occupational travelers, e.g., training and skills building, e.g., technical practitioners (nurses, doctors, technology), professional training, economic migrants, deployments (army, police, security, NGO personnel), etc.
- Customers with dual citizenship that stay out of Uganda for long periods.
Eligibility 
This Service is open to only pre-paid customers since the reserving funds need to be paid for upfront.

Subscription and Usage Guidelines
- Existing GSM and MoMo SIM recycling rules remain applicable.
- Customers can subscribe via 1008#, MyMTN App, MTN MoMo App, or MTN Website.
- The Service validity is limited to the selected subscription period (6 months, 12 months, or 24 months).
- Customers may subscribe on behalf of another number using the “Pay for Other” option. Both payer and recipient will be notified.
- No refunds will be issued for early termination of the Service.
- A valid subscription prevents number recycling for 270 days from the last payment timestamp.
- Any additional customer activity after the last successful payment extends the recycling window by another 270 days.
- No grace period applies once the subscription expires without renewal.
- Allocated data, voice minutes, and airtime are non-transferable.
Warranties and Disclaimers
- MTN reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or terminate the Service at any time without prior notice.
- MTN may revise pricing at its discretion, with changes communicated accordingly.
- All decisions made by MTN regarding the Service are final.
- MTN will promote the Service through various marketing channels including retail, digital, and outdoor platforms.
- Any additional services not included in the offer must be arranged and paid for separately by the customer.
- MTN shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from the use of the Service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
- The Service may not be used in conjunction with other MTN promotions unless otherwise stated.
